A B2B startup's original jQuery dashboard was becoming unmaintainable and couldn't support new features customers were demanding. They needed modernization without disrupting existing users or their development velocity.

The challenge

What they came to us with.

A B2B analytics startup had built their MVP five years ago. What started as a quick prototype had become their production system—and it was showing its age. The monolithic architecture couldn't handle their growing customer base, new features took months to ship, and onboarding each customer required developer involvement.

Customers complained about slow dashboard loads (sometimes 30+ seconds), the UI felt dated compared to competitors, and the lack of self-service options meant their small team couldn't scale sales.

Our approach

How we built it.

We rebuilt their platform from the ground up using a modern tech stack: React with TypeScript for the frontend, GraphQL for efficient data fetching, and a microservices architecture that could scale independently.

The new platform features: interactive dashboards with D3.js visualizations that load in under 2 seconds, complete self-service onboarding (no developer needed), white-labeling capabilities for enterprise customers, role-based access control, and an API that customers could integrate with.

The 10-week project was delivered on budget with fixed pricing. We migrated all existing customers without any data loss and with minimal downtime (under 2 hours total).

The outcome

What shipped. What changed.

3x improvement in dashboard load time

60% reduction in frontend bugs reported

New feature development time cut in half

Complete component library for future features

Seamless migration with zero customer complaints

Our legacy dashboard was holding back product development. EverEdge modernized everything while keeping our customers happy during the transition. Their full-service approach meant we didn't have to coordinate between design and dev teams.
